A neat little eatery with a laid-back atmosphere in Belgrade’s Vračar quarter, not far from the Sveti Sava Temple, the ‘Little Taste Factory’ was started with the idea of playfully experimenting with Serbian cuisine. So, while the menu is definitely Serbian – with the accent on fresh, locally sourced ingredients – it’s in no way traditional.
The ćevapi (minced veal or pork sausages) with roasted peppers and crumbled cheese, and the mustard- and thyme-aged beef steak with prune sauce are good bets here – grab a sit on the fairy light-lit patio and settle in for a nice evening.
