Mama Shelter

Top choice in Belgrade

Belgrade is just the seventh city worldwide to receive one of Philippe Starck's whimsical designer Mama Shelter hotels – the city's hottest – this one sitting on prime real estate at the Belgrade Fortress end of Kneza Mihaila, on the top floor of the glitzy Rajićeva Shopping Centre.

Rooms are funky and fun, but the real coup here is the 1000-sq-metre rooftop restaurant, bar and hang-space, complete with arcade games, outdoor fire pit, stupendous views and oodles of beautiful people – one of the few places in Belgrade to get an aerial perspective with a cocktail in hand. Go at sunset!
