This converted croft house and lodge in the island’s northwest is Eigg’s most luxurious accommodation. Rooms are fitted with beautiful, locally made, ‘driftwood-style’ timber beds, and even have iPod docks (but no mobile-phone reception). Evening meals are available (£25 a head), with the menu heavy on locally grown vegetables, seafood and venison.
