Tongue Hotel

North & West Coast

A stalwart of the north coast, this spruce former hunting lodge offers attractive, roomy chambers, including plush superiors with top views, and classic rather tired standards, though some have renovated bathrooms. It has a restaurant and also serves bar meals in the snug Brass Tap basement bar, a good spot to chat with locals. Room-only rates are available.

Food is served noon to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm.
