Lade Inn

Callander's best pub isn't in Callander − it's a mile west of town. It pulls a good pint (with its own real ales), and next door it has a shop with a dazzling selection of Scottish beers. There's low-key live music here on weekends. The food is solid (mains £9 to £14; noon to 9pm, from 12.30pm Sunday).
