Ayr Racecourse

Southern Scotland

Scotland's premier racecourse is a fun day out, with both flat and jump racing days and good facilities. The biggest event is the Scottish Grand National in April. Check the website for a list of race days. As well as racing, other events, including a popular car boot sale, are regularly held here.

Established in 1576 and in its current location since 1907, the racecourse is an easy 15-minute walk from Ayr town centre.
