Serei Uncle Idris

Top choice in Saudi Arabia

Soldiers, Yemenis, elderly uncles and local shebab (teenage boys) all arrive wanting the best Sudanese food in town: most will ask for the superb lahm madfun (buried meat), grilled meat strips cooked in a spicy vegetable sauce and served with bread rolls. You can sit outside on the plastic chairs and tables, especially when it gets super busy.

The Sudanese staff don't speak any English, but the South Asian waiter has a basic understanding.
