This sheltered kidney-shaped bay has beautiful stretches of golden sand and stunning deep-blue waters that are safe for swimming and snorkelling. Between April and May, when the island is teeming with parrotfish, this is one of the popular spots locals turn up to for the Hareed (parrotfish) Festival, when they wade into the shallows in their hundreds to catch the fish with nets.
