Vaiula Fales

'Upolu

Close to some top breaks, Vaiula is understandably popular with surfers. Fale have plastic blinds and sit on a skinny strip of palm-lined white sand. Nab the upper storey of a giant two-storey open fale under a big tree or hide away in a new 'deluxe fale' with a kitchen and private bathroom. There's a great bar-restaurant on the beach.
