Kitabi Cultural Village

Rwanda

For that 'end-of-the-earth' feeling, you could head to this lovely venture perched on a ridge about 300m from the main road. You'd be hard pressed to find a more peaceful setting to pitch your tent, within a grassy, manicured property blessed with sensational forest views. The ablution block is in top nick. Note that tents are available for hire (US$5).

Various cultural activities as well as nature walks in the surrounding tea plantations can be arranged. Meals can be prepared on request.
