Trezzini Palace Hotel

St Petersburg

This elaborately decorated hotel gives you a taste of 18th- and 19th-century imperial grandeur without compromising on modernity or convenience. The 21 rooms are spacious, with enormous bathrooms and elaborate wooden minibars that overflow with goodies. While the Trezzini teeters on the edge of being totally tasteless, its savvy staff and homogeneous style throughout miraculously reprieve it.
