Magadan

Black Sea Coast

An isolated gold-mining town in the in the Far East, Magadan seems like a funny namesake for a Black Sea resort. In fact, the resort was established in 1947 as a camp for miners to send their children for sun and fun. Nowadays, you don't have to be a gold miner's daughter to enjoy the economical rooms and the private beach.

It's about 20km north of Sochi.
