Part shop, part cafe, this cute and atmospheric spot would fit in London's hip Shoreditch area. It's adorned with crafted trinkets and vintage goods, from an old gramophone to a retro typewriter. The cafe serves hot drinks in chintzy teacups, plus fresh, well-prepared meals – ranging from kale quinoa to chicken schnitzel potato salad – on enamel serving plates and parcel-paper tablecloths.
In the shop area, upcycled wooden stepladders display bundles of classic used books wrapped with strings, and birthday cards with mix tapes attached to them. Everything in the store is carefully curated and thought about. It's all overpriced, but pretty darn wonderful.
