The Tamarindo is Culebra to the core: rustic, isolated and with a lovely Caribbean vista over Cayo Luis Peña. Spread over 60 acres, the dozen apartments in cottages are no-frills but comfortable with full kitchen and spacious terrace. There's air-con in the bedrooms only. The snorkeling, right from shore, is excellent. Playa Tamarindo is a five-minute stroll along the water.
