Fairly-priced, fuss-free fine dining comes in the form of Euskalduna Studio, a smart 16-person restaurant in a well-heeled Porto district, where guests can observe dynamic head Chef Vasco Coelho Santos serving up dishes over a marble-top counter facing the kitchen. Innovation and passion drive Vasco, and his commitment to mixing world flavors with seasonal Portuguese seafood is impressive. His ten ‘moment’ menu (€145 per person) is smart, stand-out and sustainable, with offerings such as bonito and tiger sauce and shrimp with XO sauce. Incredible.
