Igreja dos Clérigos

Nicolau Nasoni designed the Igreja dos Clérigos, with its theatrical facade and un­usual, oval-shaped nave, resembling a Fabergé egg due to its dusky pink marble walls, profusion of cherubs and gilded wedding cake of an altar.
