Well positioned near the river’s edge, this small, sun-drenched cube of glass and white stone boasts an open patio and large windows facing the Tejo and dramatic sunsets over the Torre de Belém. Locals come for fresh salads, cheese plates, bruschetta and other light bites (salads €10 to €14) that go nicely with a sundowner (wines €3.50 to €5).
Sunglasses are essential. To get here, follow the river’s edge 200m west from the Padrão dos Descobrimentos. On weekends you'll need to settle in up to 90 minutes early for a prime spot at sunset.
