Tantura

Bairro Alto, Chiado & Cais do Sodré

This Middle Eastern godsend started with a love story: Israeli couple Elad Bodenstein and Itamar Eliyahuo fell in love with Portugal on their honeymoon and perceptively realised Lisbon needed hummus. A long list of hummus and shakshuka – often embellished with creative touches sourced from Romania, Poland, Iraq and Tunisia – now fills that void exceptionally. Lovely staff as well.
