The Mill

Bairro Alto, Chiado & Cais do Sodré

As anyone who knows an Australian living outside Oz can tell you, they usually turn their nose up at any coffee not made there. Well, this charming hot spot, run by a Portuguese-Australian team of two (the Australian is the barista) has solved the problem. Espressos and flat whites make their way from the La Marzocco machine with homesick-curing accuracy!

The tavern-like table in the middle and high-speed wi-fi attracts mostly digital freelancers during the day, and there's a monthly curated selection of Portuguese wines during the bar-like atmosphere at night.
