Adjacent to the ruined fortress of Arrifana, O Paulo has a romantic covered terrace with majestic clifftop views as far as Cabo de São Vicente. The vistas are hard to live up to, but it does, with tanks of live lobsters and crabs, superfresh fish and delicacies such as razor clams and traditional brine-boiled goose barnacles (a local speciality).
