Old Podgórze Cemetery

This largely forgotten burial ground dates from the late 18th century and was once Podgórze's most prestigious cemetery. The Germans destroyed much of it during their WWII occupation and the communist government finished the job in the 1970s while building the major roadway that passes through here now.
