Rosendals Trädgårdskafe

Top choice

Set among the greenhouses of a pretty botanical garden, Rosendals is an idyllic spot for heavenly pastries and coffee or a meal and a glass of organic wine. Lunch includes a brief menu of soups, sandwiches (such as ground-lamb burger with chanterelles) and gorgeous salads. Much of the produce is biodynamic and grown on-site.

The next-door bakery and shop sells everything from preserved lemons and freshly baked bread to Rosendals’ very own cookbook. Follow signs from Djurgårdsbron; it's about a 15-minute walk. Closed in January and on Midsummer weekend.
