Built by Gustave Eiffel as Paris’ first department store in 1852, this is the epitome of style, with a superb concentration of men’s and women’s fashions, homewares, stationery, books and toys. Break for a coffee, afternoon tea or a light lunch at the Rose Bakery tearoom on the 2nd floor. The icing on the cake is the glorious food hall.
