Just beyond the lobby of the Woodlark is Abigail Hall, the hotel bar named after an Oregon suffragette and the women's reception hall that once inhabited the historic space. Retro floral wallpaper, stiff-backed banquettes and plaid wingback chairs deliver a punch of granny chic, while cocktails with names like 'Born on the Bayeux' and 'Summer in Aberdeen' conjure foregone times.
There's a good bar menu that includes prawn cocktail, fried chicken fingers, steak bites and a Dungeness crab roll.
