The sweeping Golden Horn view from the large terrace is the best reason to take a breather at this city-run cafe perched above bustling Atatürk Blvd. Tea, coffee, toasted sandwiches, ice cream and other light fare is served. It’s next to the Zeyrek Mosque (the former Church of the Monastery of Christ Pantokrator) and just downhill from the Women’s Bazaar.
The attached bookshop has some titles in English about Turkey and İstanbul as well as coffee cups, tea glasses, notebooks and other small Turkey-themed souvenirs for sale.
