Mangrove Sanctuary Resort

One of Cambodia's quirkiest lodging experiences comprises 18 concrete bungalows built over the mangroves of Peam Krasaop Wildlife Sanctuary. Upkeep is a problem, but if you can live with dysfunctional fixtures and plumbing, a night spent amid the mangroves can be enchanting. Fireflies light up the place after dark and there's a seafood-heavy restaurant as well as a large pool.
