Adisham Monastery Guesthouse


For a unique experience, check into this monastery, which has only recently permitted outside guests. There are nine clean neat rooms with private hot-water bathrooms and fresh bedlinen. Meals provided are generous in portion and delicious in taste. No alcohol or tobacco are permitted. Guests are asked to maintain silence as much as possible and to book at least three weeks ahead.

The guesthouse quarters originally belonged to Sir Thomas Villiers' chauffeur.
