Head down the stairs just before the Soğanlı ticket office to find this tranquil garden where Yılmaz Ablak and family dish up rustic meals under the apple trees. We could spend all day eating his wife's acılı ezme (spicy tomato and onion paste), but leave room for the simple yet tasty kiremit (clay-dish baked) mains served with lashings of hospitality.
A slap-up feast of warm village bread, served with homemade butter and cheese, and local honey, a side of thick-cut chips or salad plus a main dish will set you back around ₺45 per person.
Campers can pitch their tent in the garden for free. There are clean toilets and a shower on-site.
