Northern Madagascar
At the time of writing, this camp is located 15km from Daraina, which takes about 15 minutes in a 4WD. It's not accessible in the rainy season. There are eight traditional grass huts with mattresses and bedding, and private, alfresco bathrooms, set on a hill in a forest clearing. The restaurant shelter is close by.
Camp Tattersalli is a movable feast: if, during the rainy season, the camp is destroyed, it is simply rebuilt elsewhere for the following season.
