Behind the MAXXI gallery, opposite the tram terminus, this out-of-the-way gelateria may well be the best in Rome. There are few exotic flavours; rather the onus is on the classics, all prepared with high-quality seasonal ingredients. The pistachio, made with nuts from the Sicilian town of Bronte, is particularly delicious. There's another branch on Piazza Cavour in Prati.
