Once a thriving mining community, Pocahontas now consists of this roadside resort, equipped with a restaurant, hot tub, outdoor swimming pool and small grocery store. Clean and comfortable cabins, many with kitchens, are supplemented by basic motel units and more luxurious suites in the classy Cedar Lodge. The Pioneer and Settler's cabins are older, more basic and only open seasonally.
