Omid Guesthouse

Southeastern Iran

Female-run Omid is cleaner than most ultra-budget guesthouses; the simple rooms have a TV and fridge – and rock-hard beds – and guests can use the kitchen. The shared squat toilets and surprisingly good showers are in a corrugated hut partly shaded by grape-vines in the central yard.

The small reception room is through the fifth door to the right as you walk along 2nd Alley from Estaghlal St. For cars, access is via Saduqi 1st Alley.
