Soul-soaringly high-vaulted ceiling, black Panton chairs, excellent coffee and reasonable prices seduce a mixed crowd at this arty hangout in the seductive, interior courtyard of Palazzo Strozzi on Florence's most designer-chic street. Various tapas-inspired small plates, ranging from Tuscan salamis and cheeses to Mexican spring rolls, make it a great place to linger over that all-essential aperitivo.
The cafe also serves English, American, French and continental breakfasts (€10) until noon, and tasty burgers and salads for lunch (€13 to €15), and it is run by Chianti's Colle Bereto winery, hence its wine list is naturally good.
