The original lighthouse keeper's residence has been turned into a laid-back four-room guesthouse with quite possibly the best bedside view in Nova Scotia. The restaurant offers homely cooking, including a superb lobster feast; if you're not staying, ring ahead to check there's space for you at the table.
To get here, take the unsealed road off Hwy 209 signposted to Cape d'Or (it's rough going, especially in wet weather, when you may need a 4WD). Once you reach the car park, it's about 150m down to the lighthouse along a steep dirt trail.
