Ah, we almost don’t want to tell you about this gem! The 30-room T in the serene neighbourhood of Pok Fu Lam is entirely run by students of the hospitality training institute. The young trainees are attentive, cheerful and eager to hone their skills. Rooms, all on the 6th floor, are sparkling and spacious, with ocean or mountain views.

The suites are larger than many serviced apartments, and come with guest toilets and a kitchenette. The two restaurants, run by the culinary school in the complex, provide good-value Chinese and international meals. The hotel also has a sky lounge, again with gorgeous views, and a spa. From University metro station, it's a 10-minute taxi ride here.
