Located in splendid isolation, this resort takes the jungle-lodge-and-spa concept to extremes of expensive pampering. There are luxurious amenities and a slew of health and rejuvenation treatments. Lush tropical grounds harbor individually designed rooms in a variety of African, Creole, Maya and even Gaudíesque styles – including honeymoon and ‘fertility’ suites and a jungle tree house.
There are two pools and a stylish open-air restaurant that serves delicious seafood and salads. For active guests, there is a range of adventures and tours on offer, including horseback riding and jungle excursions.
Nonguests are welcome to visit the restaurant, although reservations are required. Visitors can also get access to the lovely waterfall swimming pool with a BZ$70 day pool pass (or by booking a spa treatment). Reservations required.
The resort is located 2 miles north of Maskall village and 13 miles from Altun Ha.
