Hopi House

Grand Canyon National Park South Rim

A beautiful Mary Colter–designed stone building, Hopi House has been offering high-quality American Indian jewelry, basketwork, pottery and other crafts since its 1905 opening. The structure was built by the Hopi from native stone and wood, inspired by traditional dwellings on their reservation, and both the exterior and the interior mimic traditional Hopi design elements. Be sure to walk upstairs to visit the Native American Art Gallery.
