Enjoy a lantern-lit dinner serenaded by the loud squawking from an aviary of exotic birds. It’s a P30 tricycle ride northeast of the city centre.
Curacha or spanner crab, one of the city's specialities, is steamed with Alavar's own sauce. A lot of work for not much meat, but the taste is worth the struggle.
