Bohol Coco-Farm

Top choice in Panglao Island

The best base for backpackers in Panglao, if you don't mind being inland, with nipa huts that are entirely appropriate for the rustic setting. There's a gregarious vibe, with staff and visitors mixing well. The organic cafe (mains P100 to P190) features produce from its 2.5-hectare grounds. Located 5km east of Alona Beach, it costs P60 in a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) to get here.

It organises good Bohol tours and even has a 30-minute 'sky walk' (P30).
