Malapascua Island

For budget digs in the village this long-running place is worth considering (though it is looking weary these days and street noise is an issue). On the plus side even the fan rooms have private bathrooms and a stick or two of furniture. Superbudget meals are available. It's accessed via a small path running beside Evolution, 100m from the beach.
