Shangri-La Boracay Resort & Spa

Boracay

There's no doubt about it: this is Boracay's most impressive resort. Occupying the northwest tip of the island, it offers everything you might wish for: two private beaches (including beautiful Banyugan Beach), huge pool, tropical lodge, beach bar, massive gym, impressive spa etc. But here's the rub: this self-contained world could be absolutely anywhere in the tropics.

In an effort to be exclusive, the resort has built a mighty high wall between itself and the rest of the island, to the point where its own boats will whisk you directly from Caticlan to its own private dock, thereby avoiding any contact with the rest of Boracay. So if you are looking for Shangri-la, you have definitely found it, but if you are looking for Boracay – keep looking.
