Coco Beach Island Resort

Puerto Galera

Around the point from Big La Laguna, this giant resort sprawls along a private beach and through the jungle, offering up dark but attractive standard rooms and luxurious hillside suites. All rooms are constructed of native materials; some are reached by 250 steps. There are two pools, a few restaurants, and activities galore, including good snorkelling right offshore.

Only the suites are air-conditioned. Take a bangka from Sabang (P250, 10 minutes) or walk from Big La Laguna Beach (about 15 minutes).
