Beehive

Top choice in Camiguin

Made from recycled wood, shells, rocks and a hotchpotch of other materials a la Robinson Crusoe, this eccentric Belgian-owned cafe is a good place for a pit stop on a round-the-island motorbike tour. Good burgers, omelettes served in a skillet and seasonal fruit juices are on the menu, plus killer sunset views.

The Belgian owner – hence the waffles on the menu – is passionate and committed to producing his own honey and helping Camiguin farmers (and others in Bukidnon on the Mindanao mainland) grow and roast their own coffee beans. Try the macadamia-flavoured brew served in a mini French press.
