Sagana Beach Resort

Siargao

This low-key, high-end resort occupies prime beachfront steps away from the Cloud Nine pavilion. Each of the Balinese–inspired cottages features dark-wood floors, porches with hammocks and large bathrooms. Owners Jerry and Susan Deegan are warm and knowledgeable about virtually everything happening on the island. Meals – dinners especially – are worth the price alone.

There's a small saltwater pool to cool off in. Generally closed December through February. Dinner reservations for nonguests should be made in advance (mains P440).
