Boasting typical Filipino uses of wood with contemporary architectural flourishes, Harana's aesthetic is a sophisticated combination of traditional and modern. The coed dorm villa is beautiful and the open-air restaurant, which serves innovative Filipino dishes like shwarma sisig (mains P150 to P300), is one of the area's best hang-outs. Harana also has a serious surf school.
The resort is just south of the Cloud 9 break and Beach and Tuason surf breaks are directly out front. There's a two-night minimum stay.
