The Philippines’ signature wellness and detoxification centre is the Farm at San Benito, a peaceful paradise hidden in the jungle less than a two-hour drive south of Manila, near Lipa City. Besides a bevy of detox and spa treatments, the resort has a mouthwatering vegan restaurant, tropical hardwood and bamboo suites and luxurious villas.
This is a great place to try therapeutic coffee scrubs and traditional Hilot massages or to gorge on the restaurant's surprisingly filling five-course raw-food meals. The suites are lovely, while the villas are as plush as you'll get, some with private pools and beautifully landscaped gardens. The place occasionally draws A-list international celebrities.
