Many restaurants claim great pizzas with some even uttering the word ‘Naples’ blasphemously in the description. But at Mi Comedia the Italian boasts are no exaggeration. This is about as Neapolitan as a pizza can get in Peru without the DOC Campania ingredients.
Situated a 500m walk from the center in a romantically lit upstairs space complete with that all-important pizza oven (where they also cook great lasagna), the restaurant offers friendly service and fine wines to back up its chewy pies. In contrast to Italy, margherita pizzas are more expensive here due to the cost of procuring specialist ingredients.
