Blink and you'll miss the entrance of this funky little den, located up a nondescript stairwell on the main drag (look for the handwritten sign on the pavement). It’s very much a canteen, but a good one, with friendly service and family-style Thai cuisine, including papaya salad and green curry – order 'not spicy' if you're not used to traditional Thai food.
