Sur Hotel

Top choice in Sur

In the middle of the souq, this well-managed, good-value budget hotel has neat and comfortable rooms. Some rooms are a bit noisy and others dark, but visitors rate this hotel highly not for its rooms, but for the friendly Omani welcome and the help with onward journeys. The hotel is also convenient for the bus stop, cinema and corniche.

Turtle-watching trips can be arranged through the hotel (OR25 per car) as can trips to Wadi Shab (OR25), Wadi Tiwi (OR60) or Wadi Bani Khalid (price negotiable). A booking and transport service to Wadi Bani Khalid and the Sharqiya Sands is available (OR45, or OR75 for both), and camels can be arranged for OR10 an hour per camel.
