Desert Nights Camp

Sharqiya Sands

This luxury camp offers what has been described as 'shabby sheikh' for those who want to see the sands but don't really want to engage with them. The compact, canvas-roofed cabins have boutique furnishings and the majlis (reception area) and bar are decked out with Omani antiques. A poorly graded road leads to the camp gate from Al Wasil. Complimentary sunset drives are offered.

The fine-dining restaurant serves a hotplate with house wine (OR20), and non-guests are welcome.
